Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. His acting career started with TV roles, including Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. He gained recognition for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics character in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans has continued to be featured in films that were based on graphic novels and comic books like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he was more well-known for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. This was a part of Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also appeared as Captain America in The Avengers Age of Ultron in 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. As a result of his Marvel work, he became one the most highly-paid actors on the planet.
