Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's title character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and also won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award.
