 Amy Poehler (American actress, comedian and voice artist) is a voice artist, comedian and actress with a net value of $22.5 million. Perhaps her most well-known part was on Parks and Recreation on NBC. In numerous films, she has also appeared. She first became famous thanks to "Saturday Night Live".Amy Meredith Poehler was born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 16, 1971. Eileen Poehler's parents, who she was raised by, were both teachers. Greg is her younger brother, is an actor and producer. Amy was raised in Burlington, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Amy got her acting bug at age 10, when she portrayed Dorothy in the movie, The Wizard of Oz's middle school character. Amy was a part of drama at high school, and was a member on the Student Council. In 1989, she completed her high school degree and was accepted into nearby Boston College. Amy was part of an improv comedy team in college. She graduated from Boston College 1993.
