Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only children of Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she was sixteen. She was praised for her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra was engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
