Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress popular for her work in film productions such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only one child to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up being the lead in a variety of TV dramas before she was sixteen. She was praised for her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this model. Over the years Alexandra has been involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. The most notable of these include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French history mini-series Napoleon in addition to other projects. She also remained member of juries at Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
