Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea's career began in 2011 as a comedian after she appeared in small parts in Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. In 2012, she began appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar programs. In 2012, she began appearing on panel shows after winning an award for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. From 2016 to 2017 she was a team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents were Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. The only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. The father of her Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was three years old though she did not know what happened to him until she reached the age of thirteen. She adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She also she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea's mother Helen She is an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for taking care of her as well as Sinead. The family was obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young days. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be as a profession and preferred to perform.
